AV Cart with Adjustable Shelf and Anti-Slip Pad, 4 Wheels and 4 Outlet Surge Protector, 24 x 43 x 18-Inch, Powder-coated Black Steel Review
The cart is well made, very adjustable (the height), has a built in powerstrip, and does everything it should.I picked it because it was the cheapest AV cart that wasn't made of plastic and I'm glad I did.
I did have a hard time installing the wheels on the bottom of the cart but I have a trick that helped me a ton that I thought I should share.
I spent about 45 minutes toiling and pounding on one darn wheel and didn't get anywhere. so I finally came across this trick that worked WAY easier.
You'll need a bar clamp that's fairly strong, and a rubber mallet. Get the wheel started into it's hole, then put the bar clamp on it as tight as you can safely tighten it. Then, on the wheel that is sticking out the other side, hit it with the rubber mallet. The wheel should go in fairly easily that way because the clamp is pushing on one side and the hammer pushes on the other. You will need to keep tightening the clamp after you hit the wheel a few times, but it will go MUCH quicker than just hitting the wheel alone. I know this sounds crazy, but you do NOT know how tight those holes were.
So to reiterate, the cart, works awesome and hence, gets 5 stars. Make sure you use a bar clamp and a rubber mallet when installing the wheels and you'll be fine. :-)
