The little microscopes are fantastic. We're using ours for prototype process inspection. To that end we purchased the little boom stand. It assemblies very quickly and performs its job properly. It is a little lightweight. Careless handling would easily damage it because the tubing is thin wall aluminum and would bend without much effort. All the other mounting and adjusting parts are mostly plastic. If the unit is going to receive proper care it should work well. If its going to be put out onto a production floor don't expect it to last very long.
