I put 3 of these into an Ultra 923 case. 15 bays arranged neatly into 3 raid arrays, and, well, the result looks both industrial duty and downright pretty at the same time.Pros: Sturdy, heavy duty AL from the cage to the blue unlock handles. Excellent ventilation. Downright cheap on per drive basis compared to single bay trays. Needing only 2 sata power cables cuts down on a lot of case clutter. It's just well thought out, they even exported various functions to pin headers inside the case.
Cons: Some dust filter mesh on the air intakes would have been nice. The Ultra case had some that was removed when I installed these, so I'll just install a small square of that into each of the drive tray's intake grills.
The ich9 chipset (i7 CPU) understands esata, so with a few port multipliers you could easily support something like 45 drives on a single motherboard. Like 72 TB on a home computer, today. So use esata multipliers, and throw these in an empty DVD duplicator case and grow as far as you want in a clean, compact, way.
