I don't like the one star designation "I hate it" but this lamp as far as I am concerned is a poor piece of merchandise. I have returned two lamps because the switch does not work. It has a twist rotation movement which will not twist after a few weeks. It is thus impossible to turn on the lamp. I fear the entire product line is subject to recall.
Today September 2 2013, I have informed Amazon.com that the third replacement lamp is also defective and i have asked for a refund of my purchase price. A terrible experience.
