This desk I bought was used for a small entertainment center I built around a multimedia computer. It's a nice piece of furniture if a bit heavy once it's together. It has a nice look and has no problem holding my computer as well as a 40" wide-screen I added to it, I just left the small shelf off the top,(glass shelf) and had lots of room.I do recommend that you get help putting it together, I did it alone, and it took a while especially trying to align all the pins to place the top on. Once I was sure I got it right and tightened up all the locks. I was happy with it, but even now, I moved it about a foot yesterday and found I missed one pin on the one corner. Having help to watch them all would have been a great improvement on my part, but all in all, nice desk.
