This is a beautiful knife, though not exactly your typical EDC. Weight is not so much an issue in my opinion, since at 5.6 oz. it is comparable to the Sebenza 25 at 5.2 oz. However, the knife is big, and the blade does not lend itself to typical everyday use.. it appears more suitable for hard use chores. I haven't carried the knife long enough to say anything about the sturdiness of the aluminum frame ..compared say to the titanium version.. but it feels quite solid.
