This item was given three stars for two reasons.

1- Item is listed as Espresso stained, but it looks cherry in color. It does not match my son's bedroom furniture at all! Very disappointed.
2- The inside wood of the bookshelf was scratched when we opened the box. Also one of the shelves had some of the wood chipped off. Luckily it was on the bottom so you couldn't see it.

I would have returned this product, but the box is so big and heavy; making returns a hassle.

Ok product if you want a cherry bookshelf.
