I concur with the previous reviewer that the bag's magnetic-clasp front pockets are a drawback. I would feel more comfortable riding the subway with my wallet, cell phone etc in a zippered, buckled or otherwise secured pocket. There is a long, flat zippered pocket on the back side of the bag, as well as one inside the main enclosure, but neither works well for wallet-sized items.

The bag's construction is nice with solid seam work and overall sturdy design. The material itself feels like well-worn leather. Construction wise, the only drawback is the shoulder strap which lacks padding and can feel somewhat uncomfortable after prolonged use, though the same can be said about even the most comfortably designed shoulder bags.

The picture of the bag is somewhat misleading. The tone of the bag is slightly greener than it appears here. The material also appears more worn, which is great if that fits your style (and for me, it definitely does).

Overall, I would give this bag 5 stars if not for the 1) insecure clasps, 2) uncomfortable shoulder strap and 3) inaccurate color/material representation online (though the color/material get high marks from me regardless).
