I have a similar Sauder bookcase from 10 years ago, in a different color, and I have to say that the design of this bookcase is much improved over the older version. Very easy to put together- did it by myself in less than an hour- and I really like the design of sliding the notched edges over all of the shelves to give it a very clean look. Also, it has levels on the bottom, which are nice if you have an uneven floor or want it to tilt back slightly on carpet (as I do). Deducted a star because the color was a little darker than I thought it would be, based on the photo.
