I teach calculus and trigonometry for an online school, and this calculator, or equivalent, is a required item for students. After I bought mine, I found the basic math operations to be pretty straightforward. There is a bit of a learning curve to go deeper than that first level. Having spent the time working through one year of teaching, I am very sold on this calculator! (I also found the "for Dummies" book on this calculator to be quite helpful in the beginning.) It has been quite reliable. Now prepping for year two, I will change out the batteries and drive on. (I have no hint that the batteries are anywhere near ready to fail, but I can't have it happen during class...)
