It was a Christmas present for my dad. Looking back though, i wish i had kept it for myself. Hahaha. Ok, so before i continue, please note i'm not a pen aficionado. I like pens that write well. If they look nice, its a bonus. The fanciest pen i own is a Waterman, which is a gift from my brother. I usually just buy generic pens that write smoothly to my liking (also cos i don't have to worry if i were to misplace or lose it haha). But of course, i was buying a gift this time round...So what can i say about this Sonnet - its a beauty!!!!! Its not all silver, its got this light gold color, which i find very tasteful (Overly gold pens come across as too gaudy for me). Its has this tiled pattern which is simple and gives enough grip and its weighted slightly, but just nice so long stretches of writing with it is still good. The ink is really smooth and adds to the pleasure of writing. The box it comes in is subtle but elegant. Overall, it is a fantastic pen!
