I got this because it was cheap...

It was EXTREMELY difficult to put together. If I had known how hard it would be to put together, I think I would have thought twice about purchasing this. It was very hard to assemble and I actually enjoy assembling my own furniture. This was kind of a disappointment for me. I actually was thinking of returning this product, but when I saw how complicated it would be to ship and how much they charge for this item to be returned, I realized it wouldn't be worth it. I would end up paying almost the same price as the product just to return it.

Also, when I finished assembling this, I realized the holes weren't drilled evenly so the joints didn't fit together quite snuggly. There were dents in it from shipping. The shelf was a bit wobbly. From far away, it still looks okay. With strategically placed paper, it also looks okay.
Unfortunately though, it was just a mess.

I am kind of sad. From now on, I only buy furniture with a lot of positive reviews on it (>5 five star reviews). I am posting this so that other people will get a chance to see the feedback previous customers have had. Maybe this will help you decide.
