All I can say is it works and cuts paper to a size of rice. If security is an issue this thing is great. I go with 4 sheets at a time and it is quick. Seems well built. The pull out basket is awsome. I have always had the kind that you lift the shredder and grab the basket. With this one, just pull the basket out,dump and replace. Since the clippings are so small, it does not need emptying as often. As I said, it really does cut to micro specs.
