pros: It's toner. It costs a fraction of what buying new cartridges do. It comes with instructions and is easy to put in the cartridges with a soldering iron hole making tool. Just buy one if you don't have one. They're cheap. The toner seems to be just as good as the Samsung toner that was originally in the cartridge. Also, the reset chips worked perfectly for me, although I ripped off the sticky tape, cut out the old ones and put the new ones in their place, rather than sticking them over the top. So I can't comment on their functionality if used as intended.

Cons: The only one I can think of is it can be a little messy the first time you do it, so do it over the top of a towel or something. This would be a con of any do it yourself toner cartridge refilling.
