Excellent quality leather. Appearance and color dead-on with online photos. Metal clasps, buckles, etc. all function and appear to be good quality. One nice feature is that when you use the shoulder strap, it does not smush the edges of the top flap, as with many accordian-style cases. Also, the shoulder strap, which is not pictured in the online photos, is nice matching leather with a good shoulder pad. Only one complaint: The shoulder strap could have been longer; I am 6'-5", and even at the max strap length it hangs at ribcage height, rather than hip height.
